From Paper to Digital
Some of the earliest OIRF newsletters, dating back to the 1980s, were printed and mailed (yes, by postal mail) to practitioners worldwide. These have now been recreated and added to the archive. Even in those early editions, the concept of an “information bridge linking practitioners” inspired both the newsletter’s title and its bridge-themed banners. Many of these early treasures can be found here or in the Treasures from the Vault section.

The Bridge Newsletter
In the early 2000s, “The Bridge” became a regular monthly publication, featuring articles by advisors and directors along with many contributions from the German and European journals precisely translated into English.

Praxis2Practice Today
Since OIRF’s closure in 2018, Carolyn has continued reviewing German and English-language journals, publishing a monthly blog/newsletter – many articles now also included here – featuring timely commentary and resources relevant to daily practice.

We hope this archive supports your knowledge and professional growth in Biological and Energy Medicine.

During this time, manufacturing methods and therapeutic principles evolved differently in each European country. These differences are expressed in national homeopathic Pharmacopoeias that differ in part from each other with regard to manufacturing methods. These differences apply to nosodes as well as to other homeopathic medicinal products. Nosodes are homeopathic preparations made from disease products of human or animal origin, from pathogens or from products [...]

What’s this MAYR®-Cure thing all about? The MAYR®-Cure (pronounced as “mire”, not “mayor”) is the famous intestinal therapy from Europe. What is it? It’s all of those, and much more than that. As the first ever North American to become a fully-trained Mayr Physician, I am delighted to tell you more . . . Franz Xaver Mayr, was born [...]

First of all, I want to thank Dr. Herrmann (the Chairman), and the Board of Directors of the “International Physicians Society for Biocybernetic Medicine”, for the great privilege of addressing this esteemed audience. I would also like to sincerely thank Mr. Rasche and the entire staff of the Med-Tronik firm for the excellent support they have given me and Occidental Institute affiliated practitioners, over the past fifteen and a half years. I apologize for not speaking in German. Even though my name is German, I was born in Canada [...]

How to test “multiples” of a single ampule In German Electro-Acupuncture (E.A.V., E.A.P.), VEGATESTING, and kinesiological methods that utilize German medication testing concepts, there is often a need to test “multiples” of a single on hand ampule. This is done along classic “loading” principles, or to simulate a one potency lower test ampule [i.e, five 4X amps approximate one 3X ampule]. In the Vegatest-Method for example, protocol requires testing an increasing number of Cauda pankreatis [= Islets of Langerhans] D32 test ampules together at one time, to determine diabetes [...]

The Root of Your Problems - CHEW, CHEW, CHEW. The simplest therapies are often the best. Everyone gets caught up administering remedies and therapies that provide instant gratification to their patients. Let’s face it, its easy to do. However, sometimes the simplest solution, the one requiring no drugs, or medications, is the best. It involves convincing the patient to take responsibilities for their own actions, and of modifying bad habits that are causing their health problems. What is interesting, is that the root of a vast number of health [...]

  • O2 Ions as Energy-Carriers of our Life Energy The following is Part 2 of a two-part article by Oswald Bartel. The first part focused on ionized oxygen, this second part talks about ionized water. Included are some therapy suggestions that are still at the research stage. This is an authorized translation from a German article. At times the English and grammar are a little rough, however, except where absolutely required we have not altered the original article. As was already mentioned [...]
