Carolyn, here is an update leading to the recently published articles I mentioned on the zoom call. The articles are linked toward the end of this email. Also, please let me know if the PDF (follow this link) is helpful in understanding the figures from the papers. I think most people I’ve contacted don’t read the paper!!
An update on recent studies conducted with ReadiSorb® Liposomal Glutathione (RLG). The link is to the advantages page on our website to show the clinical studies and research demonstrating the advantage of RLG over NAC and plain glutathione (GSH). Please note RLG restores glutathione (GSH) in both infectious and metabolic conditions such as diabetes, which deplete GSH. The severity of Covid-19 was tripled in individuals with Diabetes (4).
Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was co-author of three papers discussing the role of glutathione deficiency and the illness caused by SARS-CoV-2 (5-7). In the articles, the reviewers allowed the statement, Viruses deplete glutathione to facilitate replication. The last of the series discusses the use of glutathione in the prevention of Immunothrombosis “The Role of Glutathione in Prevention of COVID-19 Immunothrombosis” (7). We now have cell culture confirmation of the role of RLG in the management of the immunothrombosis of COVID-19 (2). The study shows the Spike protein itself triggers many of the immune and thrombotic changes seen in SARS CoV-2 infection (2). Examples of the benefit of RLG on the immunologic and fibrin clot information are illustrated in the attached PDF.
Two Studies regarding the impact of RLG on the effects of different viruses were published in 2024:
A recently published study on the Spike protein of COVID-19 in cell culture confirms the role of glutathione in the prevention of immunothrombosis related to the Spike protein of COVID (2). “Evaluation of Glutathione in Spike Protein of SARS-CoV-2 Induced Immunothrombosis and Cytokine Dysregulation” was conducted using RLG.
A study conducted in GSH depleted mice published in January, demonstrates the use of RLG in the management of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in neonatal mice depleted of GSH: “Liposomal Glutathione Augments Immune Defenses against Respiratory Syncytial Virus in Neonatal Mice Exposed in Utero to Ethanol,” (8)
I look forward to any suggestions you may have.
Best,
s/Tim
