From Paper to Digital
Some of the earliest OIRF newsletters, dating back to the 1980s, were printed and mailed (yes, by postal mail) to practitioners worldwide. These have now been recreated and added to the archive. Even in those early editions, the concept of an “information bridge linking practitioners” inspired both the newsletter’s title and its bridge-themed banners. Many of these early treasures can be found here or in the Treasures from the Vault section.

The Bridge Newsletter
In the early 2000s, “The Bridge” became a regular monthly publication, featuring articles by advisors and directors along with many contributions from the German and European journals precisely translated into English.

Praxis2Practice Today
Since OIRF’s closure in 2018, Carolyn has continued reviewing German and English-language journals, publishing a monthly blog/newsletter – many articles now also included here – featuring timely commentary and resources relevant to daily practice.

We hope this archive supports your knowledge and professional growth in Biological and Energy Medicine.

  • 01 October 2019 Oh yes, and I’ve been writing again. A combination of a personal experience and then discovering a most interesting article in a recent German Journal, has resulted in another “ah ha” moment for me and for point and med-testers everywhere. When testing your patients, do you get them to remove their watch, rings, cell phone and so on? Ever asked about their hearing aids? Modern digital hearing aids are truly phenomenal for those of us who are hearing impaired, but is it really okay to have [...]

  • 01 October 2019 Dear Colleagues and Friends, The digitalized third version of the OIRF Chinese Medical Classics is now available. For full description and details see product and publication descriptions on this website. Take a look at an excellent article by Taylor Bean, ND published in the NDNR Naturopathic Doctor News & Review, Volume 15, Issue 8, August 2019. Entitled “Naturopathic Perspective of Vaccination, Optimizing Immunization & Putting Parents at Ease”, Dr. Bean gives us a practical and perceptive approach for helping our patients, both the parents and the [...]

  • Announcements, Updates and Reminders August 2019 08 August 2019 Dear Colleagues and Friends, It’s finally done. The over four months of detailed bleary-eyed computer work has finally been completed, and I am pleased to announce that the digitalized third version of the OIRF Chinese Medical Classics is now available. I have come to truly appreciate all the dedicated work that went into the development of these course materials during the early 1980’s. Working as a team Dr. Michael Barnett, Dr. Michael Coburn† and myself (Carolyn) spent endless hours translating, [...]

  • Comments in a recent email from D.S., Illinois USA I thought to briefly report back in after a couple weeks or so with the "toys." My phone call with Dieter was enjoyable. Regarding the super learning... I called Dieter Jossner yesterday regarding the "super learning capability." He said the FIT 915 goggles served the general function of literally getting the brain "fit" (5 to up to 15 min. upon rising w/ white light) while the NSA 07 frequency device would be used for the actual super learning part. While [...]

Miracles, Scams and Possibilities During our German Biological Medicine Tour #38 to Germany in 2011, the group had the great privilege of visiting the world famous Villa Medica, in Edenkoben Germany. We heard an amazing lecture from Dr. Geoffrey Huertigen and were given a guided tour through the entire facility. They maintain their own large flock of organic and naturally raised sheep, cared for by their resident shepherd. Today, they refer to their technique as “Management with Cell Therapy”. This was however the original resident hospital clinic for stem [...]

  • I’ve watched with interest – and a dose of horror – as the vaccination controversy has once again exploded in our province of British Columbia, Canada. As of this morning there are 15 “new” cases of measles diagnosed and reported here. I wonder how many of those ill children were previously vaccinated, but so far no one has answered that part of the equation. Within just a week’s time, the news is flooded with reports of 10’s of thousands of anxious parents signing petitions demanding mandatory inoculations. Our provincial [...]

Med-Week 2018 Observations, Part 2 Simon Yu, MD spoke during the Cancer Congress at Med-Week during the ½ day English sessions. His new presentation was excellent and was – as far as I could see – very well received. Leigh Erin Conneally, MD also spoke during that conference. She is such a dynamic and passionate speaker that she too was well received. A strong representation from USA/Canada that showcased how advanced and involved with this field we truly are. Again, this year there were a some English lectures available. [...]

Discussions About BioResonance Today Today, we are seeing a very broad usage and application of the term BioResonance. And I can understand that when we think in terms of Resonance itself. It is through an understanding and application of the concepts of resonance that give us point and medication testing methods and a multitude of various therapeutic methods – everything from acupuncture and homeopathy themselves through to the most advanced technological devices available on the Biological Medicine market today. Since so many devices claim to [...]

In recent Issues of The Townsend Letter for Doctors and a few of the German-language journals, there has once again been controversy about the effectiveness of homeopathy. It is interesting in one sense to hear practitioners and the “scientists” argue that: These are just dilutions and there is no substance (especially past Avogadro’s Number or 1023) There is no scientific explanation of homeopathy This is just placebo, and even placebo gets better results And so on . . . But they are only looking at the chemical or physical [...]

Med-Week 2018 Observations, Part 1 This year I was privileged to participate in the recent Medicine Week Congress (Nov. 2018) in Baden-Baden, Germany without the responsibility of organizing and hosting a guided tour program. Although I missed sharing the experience with the usual group of inquisitive participants, it was a rewarding and enlightening conference. It is my pleasure to share a number of important observations and contacts with you that will affect us as we move forward into 2019. These are my own perceptions and educated opinions offered for [...]
