Vaccinations, Covid and a Story

My dear friends, colleagues and supporters,

Have you had a chance to wander around this new OIRF.com website? One doc told me about nights of deep dives until 2 AM finding treasures while others have commented on the ease of moving around and finding the things you remembered or were looking for. I’m thrilled with the response and it’s rewarding to know the years of effort and struggle to complete the uploads and formatting have offered you easy accessibility to the decades of publications and materials. Thank you for all your comments.
Techie guru Chad already has me working slowly away at upgrading the current P2P site and hopefully soon it too can be more easily accessed. With each issue of the P2P newsletter and announcements, I will also upload the articles to OIRF. Print issues (in PDF format) will remain available only on the P2P site.

Again, before getting back into the newsletter articles however, I am also very pleased to announce the return of deliveries of the fantastic wellness devices from Medical Electronics in Germany. With all the turmoil of tariffs and trade agreements, Mrs. Jossner was very reluctant to continue shipments into Canada and the USA. Now, that agreements have been reached and settled, those shipments will resume. Please see my new comments in the announcements about how this will work along with the usual links.

And so, for this month I’ve found a couple of articles and a couple of “Points of Interest”. Be sure to also take a look at the suggested links and articles below to see some of what has appeared in the English language newsletters and journals.

• New: 40 Years Medical Electronics 1985-2025. What do sunlight and biphotons do for your health? An Interview (in English) with Dieter Jossner (filmed during the fall prior to his passing in January 2023). Please follow this link, and scroll down to find the interview.
• New: Holistic Therapy of Polyneuropathy, by rer.nat. Oliver Ploss. Polyneuropathy is the presence of a systemic disease in which damage to the peripheral nervous system occurs. As a result, the function of the affected nerves is disturbed. • New: A Dreaded Symptom Picture: Polyneuropathy and the Possibilities of Naturopathy, by Philipp Feichtinger, HP. Polyneuropathy is a dreaded symptom picture that is usually the result of other diseases. At the same time, problematic accompanying symptoms can appear. • New: Immune Training or Risk: Epigenetic Changes from mRNA Vaccines, A new study shows that mRNA‑vaccinations leave profound traces in the immune system. But what does long-term immunity generated in this way mean for health? In their 2024 study, Jan Rybniker and his team showed that SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccination triggers permanent epigenetic changes in immune cells – especially in macrophages. • New: Danger Especially With In-ear Headphones: How harmful is Bluetooth?: In addition to WLAN and the various mobile communications standards, Bluetooth in particular is used worldwide as a wireless standard. Class 2 Bluetooth, which is particularly common today, emits a transmission power of 2.5 milliwatts in the 2.4 gigahertz band and has a range of about 20 meters indoors.   Being among those with severe hearing loss and reliant on new hearing aid technology which uses Bluetooth to connect to our smart phones, this short Point of Interest was of personal interest, but is yet something else we all need to be aware of.

And so my friends, a little story before I get into the rest of this month’s goodies . . .

The Story of My Little Brother

About ten years after me, a tiny little baby boy joined our family. A happy little guy, highly intelligent, very artistic and always eager to learn. He and I were always very close in spite of our separations by age, distance and family dynamics. As a high achieving high school teenager, sitting at breakfast one morning he suffered a severe seizure, fell to the floor and scared the daylights out of my poor parents. Sent by the family doctor to the hospital in the nearby city, the diagnosis was encephalitis probably caused by a bite from a “horse fly” from a nearby farm. Curious, but even more curious the treatments. Considering this is the mid-1970s, their response was high doses of antibiotics. But the seizures continued getting more and more violent, and then the diagnosis simply changed to epilepsy of unknown origin. Treatment changed to strong anti-epileptics in an attempt to control the seizures.
A few years later, my husband and I were located in Florida and under then existing regulations OIRF was able to offer correspondence-style at-home training followed by resident training programs in order for practitioners of acupuncture to obtain certification to practice. Exciting times. During the final week of summer resident training programs, practical training in Electro-Acupuncture According to Voll sessions were held. We were honored to feature the famous, Dr. med. Hartwig Schuldt (a colleague and translator for Dr. Voll) from Germany for lectures, demonstrations and practical training. My brother traveled to Florida to visit us and we were able to have him tested by Dr. Schuldt. Let’s see what really is the source – the cause – of all this neurological imbalance.
Those tests became a real lesson to the many docs attending the course. Detective work at its finest. In about 30 minutes time, Dr. Schuldt was able to locate a number of nosodes and remedies that would help him recover, and determined that the source of the imbalance was an “unresolved case of measles”. Hmm. In talking with my mother later, she was confused in that she did not think my brother ever had measles. Although I can no longer confirm this, I know that my Mom would have followed their family doctor’s recommendations for all vaccinations available during those times – including of course measles and mumps (and probably polio). Was that a part of the link?
It’s a long time ago now, nearly 45 years. By this time, my beloved little brother had matured into a 25 year old man who, in spite of his physical and “social graces” challenges, was an accomplished musician (vocal, piano and guitar), an artist (multiple media), an aspiring author of poetry and short stories and was completing his Masters program in Art History and Literature. Shortly before Christmas of that year, my brother received the medications from Germany recommended by Dr. Schuldt, but had not yet begun taking them. Having caught a bad cold, he stopped his anti-epileptic medications in order to take a cold remedy. Alone in his apartment he fell into a severe seizure and left us one cold winter night. As much as we loved him, I have always wondered what happened. I pray that he remains at peace, and I hope he knows his big sister will always miss him.

Back to Vaccinations and Covid

I’m sure by now, you’re wondering why I’ve gone rambling on about such a personal experience from so long ago, but in a way, I guess I really needed to get some of that off my chest. In view of the focus in recent months on vaccinations and vaccination policy we can finally see the beginning changes that RFK Jr. is attempting to turn into accepted policy and practice.
This and so many other factors, has simply put me back up onto my soapbox. We’ve been through Covid and the pandemic (sorry, a few more references included again this month). Then there were the controversies about the viability of the virus theories themselves – that curious conundrum of why the germ theories of Pasteur became acceptable instead of the terrain theories of his contemporaries Béchamp and Vincent. Perhaps we should be investigating and discussing these aspects now before the next “pandemic”?
Then the focus on vaccinations – what are the current recommendations? Nearly 77 vaccinations per child by the time they are pre-teens? And have any of those vaccines been truly “safe and effective”? And so, this month, I will be directing you to some most interesting analyses and articles on vaccines, including this one (by the (in)famous Midwestern Doctor) that triggered my personal wander down memory lane.
And I add here, the reason I so vocally take this stance, is that if you as practitioners need to be able to advise your patients regarding vaccines, you must be armed with as much information and research as possible. [Hopefully here in BC and Canada we will still be allowed to speak!]

One thing I will recommend is to get the book by Dr. Suzanne Humphries. I know I’ve mentioned it before and I know that I got a copy for my Kindle for about $10. This is both a history and a clear explanation of how vaccines were developed and are now made. It’s ugly, it’s unbiased and it’s very hard to read. But it’s important.
