Revolutionary!

June Commentary and Links

June 2026

Dear friends, colleagues and supporters,

In the early spring of 2015 as I began developing my lectures on balance and resonance, it was pretty clear that it would take a paradigm shift in perception for the methods and procedures that are so well known to us as energy medicine practitioners to become part of standard medical practice. That shift from chemistry to physics, or from defeating a symptom allopathically to balancing the energetic household seemed far too esoteric – or perhaps too simplistic – to ever be accepted and utilized in every day practice.
The two recent articles that I translated from my German journals on “Rethinking the Heart” by Dierk Moyzes, MD are reassurance for me that I have been following the correct pathway with my insistence that we consider an in depth understanding of the concepts of resonance as a basis for working with energy and biological medicine. As those same concepts have expanded within the various versions of my lecture, emphasis on the role of the heart has become more and more important. The research and insight offered to us in these two translated current articles are, in my humble opinion, the beginning of that revolutionary paradigm shift.
In referring to his resonance model for medicine Dr. Moyzes states: “It also provides a practical framework for the development of interdisciplinary interventions – from music therapy to mindfulness-based procedures to ecologically and ritually embedded settings. As a result, medical practice is not only expanded, but also rehumanized by taking the experience, feeling and living environment of the patients seriously.
Interestingly, during recent months I have taken on the challenge of video recording several of my lectures so that I can add them to the archival library of information on the OIRF website. Over the forthcoming summer hiatus and holidays, I will be working through the tedious and time consuming work of editing (like cutting the scene where a tiny spider dropped in front of me and left me with an expression worthy of AFV), adding slides and reformatting prior to uploading to the site. Reading and translating Dr. Moyzes articles has been enlightening and very encouraging. For now, the PDF report versions of my lectures with handouts are online (follow this link to view without charge), and hopefully I’ll get the videos up over the summer. In the meantime why not take a look at my reports to see some of the basics of these foundational concepts, and then (re)read his articles carefully. They are inspirational and revolutionary.

Here are the links for this month’s articles, translations and commentaries:

  • Review: Rethinking the Heart: Resonance Medicine As A Bridge Between Evidence And Experience, Part 1, Resonance as a Regulative Principle, by med Dierk Moyzes, M.A. How can we explain resonance phenomena, how do they work, and what promotes them? In which areas does resonance have an effect? This article explores these questions and develops a comprehensive and multidimensional resonance model using heart health as an example. Especially in medicine, where objectively verifiable knowledge (disease) intersects with the body’s subjective experience of crisis (being ill), resonance gains particular relevance as a regulatory principle. Read the full article on P2P here, or on OIRF here.
  • New: Rethinking the Heart: Resonance Medicine As A Bridge Between Evidence And Experience, Part 2, Psychological, Social, Cultural and Transversal Resonance, by med. Dierk Moyzes, M.A. In the concept of resonance medicine, the heart is not only understood as a physiological organ, but also as a central resonance organ for emotional, social, cultural and spiritual processes. In this perspective, the heart becomes an integrative mediator between body, psyche, the social world and meaning – and thus a central point of reference for an extended integrative medicine that not only seeks to heal, but to connect. An accurate analysis of information we are all well aware of:

  • No industry, organization, or cause tasked with solving a problem will actually solve it, because the problem disappearing threatens their economic livelihood or political power – a dynamic visible everywhere from non-profits which constantly seek donations but never produce results to dating apps that deliberately prevent users from finding partners and leaving the platform.
  • The pharmaceutical industry has perfected this model: drugs are designed to be taken perpetually rather than cure, side effects create demand for additional drugs, and the entire regulatory apparatus is structured to protect this status quo by suppressing affordable natural therapies like DMSO that challenge it.

Although this is brief for the final e-newsletter prior to my usual summer hiatus and holiday, I trust you will share an appreciation of the valuable information within Dr. Moyzes’ two articles. Be sure to check out the events page for changes and confirmation of several forthcoming seminars. I’ll be back with more articles and news in September. I thank you for your ongoing support and interest, and send all best wishes for the summer months ahead . . .
