The Ground Regulation System

A few years after his serious illness in 2011 Prof. Dr. Hartmut Heine published a series of seven articles on the Ground Regulation System. I [Carolyn Winsor] was honored to be able to translate this incredible research into English for the first time and to publish it in our newsletter, “The Bridge”.

As I worked my way through translation of the first article, the wealth of knowledge and understanding imparted in even that introductory article left me scrambling for dictionaries, research documents hidden away in the old OIRF library and way beyond “Google searches” to make sure that I was doing justice to the information Prof. Dr. Heine was imparting. Combined with the succeeding six further articles, his gift to us of knowledge and of understanding is truly priceless.

In respect for Prof. Heine I have merged those seven articles into one single report and have republished it separate from that older newsletter version. With a total of forty-eight (mind-blowing) pages, this work is not just “worthwhile” reading, but mandatory reading for all practitioners of orthodox and complementary medicine. (Prof. Hartmut Heine, DSc, MD)
The focus of his early scientific studies at the Universities of Munich, Kiel and Hanover was comparative anatomy based on physiology, pathology, biochemistry and zoology. Achieve DSc 1969 on the heart in human evolution, followed by a professorship in 1974 on anatomy, histology and embryology at the University of Frankfurt am Main.
His research eventually led to the system of basic regulation which he developed independently at the same time alongside the Viennese School with anatomist Prof. Dr. Alfred Pischinger. The fine structural elucidation of the basic substance (extra-cellular matrix) and its importance as a molecular sieve between the final stream and the cells to be supplied has been expressed in more than 300 internationally considered publications and lectures. On 1976 Heine was appointed professor of anatomy at the University of Würzburg.

Credentials

Heine succeeded in proving the anatomical structure of acupuncture points. The work gave acupuncture an important push toward scientific research.

From 1997 Prof. Heine continued his research as head of the Institute for Antihomotoxic Medicine and Basic Regulation Research in Baden-Baden. Here he was able to develop basic mechanisms of action for antihomotoxic medicine.

For his work in connection to his work with basic regulation he received numerous awards and honors. He lectured internationally on these topics and even after retirement continued to publish extraordinary contributions on latent tissue acidosis in chronic diseases and tumors, as well as work on arteriosclerosis, aging processes of the extra-cellular matrix and Alzheimer’s dementia.

On his passing April 2016

Hartmut Heine loved the precision of knowledge acquirement, often contradicted the current doctrines and present opinions – in particular in Medicine, therefore he often said: “Medicine IS not science, but IT NEEDS science”, and yes in some moments he considered besides that qualification even more than this: EDUCATION.

His humanistic position and his high demands on himself and others – his characteristic features – were incorruptible which became clear over and over again in many personal conversations. Therefore he certainly not only had friends in a circle of scientific “celebrities” and “parvenus” but he thus maintained a truly comprehensive and clear view of the world around us.

With Hartmut Heine we have all lost an important friend and sponsor of medicine (and not only the “complementary procedures”) – but he has left us a rich inheritance which we can possess and which newcomers can always achieve.
