A Busy Fall Season

Dear friends, colleagues and supporters,
The summer days are slipping away into the past and we’re all busy moving forward into the routines and busy-ness of the rapidly descending fall season. I hope that each of you have had an opportunity to spend time with family and friends over the summer holidays. There were so many exciting activities, summer festivities (America 250 years! – Wow!), lots of politics and now yet another election season gets underway.
Although I personally pulled back from work at my desk over the summer, I’ve still been totally engrossed in the incoming journals and newsletters while still following the news and events. There were three conference events scheduled for the first few weeks of September and I hope you all had time to get registered for the ones that were of interest and help for your daily practice.
I must say however, that the many articles and topics that have been highlighted over the summer months, have kept me focused – enthralled actually – as I delved into my journal translations and deeper into English-language materials. I’ve tried to cherry-pick those articles that can be most informative for you, and it’s taken me a bit to reorganize them into a semblance of order. You’ll need to bear with me as I go back to some topics that I previously said I would set aside. But so much new analysis necessarily brings us back into vaccines, autism, viruses . . . Here are this month’s translations along with the brief commentaries and links that I’ve collected over the summer.
First up from my German-language journals here’s an article that was personally interesting after learning about the decisions and choices being made by a close family member. Again, we see the need for an integrated approach – a cooperation between practitioners – as we all deal with serious and chronic illnesses whether for family or patients.
- New: Palliative Support With Complementary Approaches, Giving Well-being, Trust and Security, by Phillip Feichtinger, HP. People in palliative care usually want to be able to spend their remaining time in the highest possible well-being and to experience support for body, mind and spirit in this way. Although the possibilities for patients in this phase have developed significantly in recent decades, there are still many reservations – also among therapists, naturopaths and the personal environment. With this article, I would like to advocate involving more naturopaths in palliative support and care, as they can be a valuable pillar of support for those affected and their relatives with the help of naturopathy and complementary procedures. And then . . . two excellent articles on Autism. One from Germany and the other from Switzerland. Then, I’ll follow up with the links to recent English-language articles.
It has been so interesting to watch the controversy explode in the USA as Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. turned his attention back to the unprecedented increase in autism cases in recent years. Similar to his policies concerning vaccines and measles, the legacy media once again rushes to discredit the findings of his researchers, rather than looking at that research. [An aside: I see there has been yet another DOJ investigation launched against him to be opened after the next election regarding the old Samoa measles debacle for which he has previously been exonerated at least three times.]
But also interestingly, these two European articles seem to ignore the two elephants in the room: Primarily vaccines but also Acetaminophen. Hmmm.
- New: Autism, by Susanne Maróthy, HP. The word “autism” is being used more and more often, and has also become known to the wider public in recent decades. What does that mean? Who are autistic people? Quirky loners with a lack of manners? Ingenious memory artists? Highly gifted mathematicians?
There is no doubt that there are also gifted people among autistic people. However, a large proportion of autistic people have mental or learning disabilities, cannot speak or can only speak to a limited extent, cannot live independently, and are dependent on help for the rest of their lives. Autism is one of the most profound developmental disorders. Even if those affected develop over the course of their lives, autism cannot be “treated away”. As a physician, I regularly observe that children and adults with autism not only have neurological characteristics, but often also send out physical signals that we have previously overlooked. When families then report that targeted dietary changes have led to more eye contact, better sleep and less irritability, the question arises: Why don’t we use this potential more systematically? Well, my friends, that’s a lot. A lot of links, a lot of information and a lot to think about. I hope you’ll sit back (maybe take a look through your laptop or PC instead of your phone) and go through those articles and topics that are important or applicable for your practice. With the perspective of my summer “holiday” time and discussions with family and friends, I’ve come to the understanding that many of the horrible aspects, now being disclosed about the pandemic and COVID and vaccines, may never be truly understood within the “general public”. Too many years of propaganda, biased media/press and “medical authority” control may never be totally undone. But, for me, and I hope also for you, that some of these corrupt individuals and organizations may finally be held accountable for the harm they have done. That offers the positivity and the optimism that there will be real change toward a better future.
I add one final reminder. Be sure to check out the video recordings of my former lectures. Initially I thought recording, editing, processing and publishing these videos would be a long process throughout the summer. With the help of a few friends, some new tech and guidance, all three video portions were quite efficiently put up on the OIRF site. Nothing startling, but my contribution to preserving the history of our field and also a perspective of the concepts of balance and resonance as they form the basis of the medicine we practice daily. I hope you have an opportunity to listen – I look forward to your comments!

Based on the ancient acupuncture meridians and points, moving forward through from the early 1800’s and then into modern day applications, follow the longstanding documented history of our current point and medication testing methods. - New again: Balance à Resonance à BioResonance, by Carolyn L. Winsor, BMus, BEd. This report was initially prepared as a lecture presentation and later reformatted for publication. In watching the developments and ongoing research related to the field of Biological Medicine, it was clear that we were sliding down into ever smaller, ever deeper, ever more minutiae and detailed explanations. Although these “scientific” and “technical” descriptions are necessary in many ways, we must be careful to maintain a clear understanding and view of the basic concepts of energy. Here is a clearly laid out overview of the concepts of energy, balance and resonance. These are the foundation stones of all our work with Biological Medicine. Okay, it’s time for me to close for this month. Already new journals have arrived (one with some incredible new information about complementary oncology approaches), and my “semi-retired” projects are calling my name. And I suppose that’s really “the news” post-summer. With the completion of the video lectures mentioned above, my promise to preserve and protect the incredible amount of information developed and published by OIRF over their 46 + 8 (P2P) years of existence has been completed. As I turn 80 later this year, I am “officially”, really, actually moving into “semi-retirement”. I will continue the monthly newsletters but will now limit my time at my desk to the hours listed on the websites:
