November 2021

In a talk by Melissa Spas (who serves as the Director of Education and Engagement for an organization called the Lake Institute on Faith and Giving) she commented that “the dominant expectation of our economy is scarcity and competition, and the shadow side of scarcity is greed.” Scarcity, competition and greed – does that ring true for the pandemic situation we are currently facing?

Biblical scholar Marcus Borg uses the term “domination system” in his writings, which he says refers to “what is commonly called ‘systemic injustice’ – sources of unnecessary human misery created by unjust political, economic, and social systems.” (from The Heart of Christianity).

So, how does all this affect us? It means that we truly need to expand our way of thinking. Or, even think back to that amazing essay called The Coronation by the philosopher Charles Eisenstein that we all read in April 2020. Just as in ancient and more recent historical times, we live in a domination system especially as focused in the health care field. We need to scrutinize the parts we play in that system.

Who do we value? Who comes to us for health care and assistance? We need to cultivate a communal mindset for ourselves as practitioners – an alternative to the domination system – so that when we make decisions, we include those who are excluded or most vulnerable in our midst. For this I often think of Dr. Simon Yu’s “Good Friday” practice where all who come are welcomed first-come-first-served and must only pay for medications. It means that we must adopt an attitude of abundance rather than competition and scarcity so that we are not drawn into nor feed the practice of greed. Through all of these shifts in perspective, we must create an authentic expression of our experience as natural and energy healers.

There will be a turning point in response to this pandemic – a catalyst of some kind – that will come soon. Let us continue to battle forward without violence and inappropriate confrontation as we remember that many hold their health and vaccination beliefs strongly and righteously. It can never be a matter of good or bad decisions, but rather how we can act within the domination system in order to bring about change. In all ways, let us follow one of the possible pathways suggested by Eisenstein to compassion as we call for an “Energy Medicine Health Revolution” that will bring about a paradigm shift in health care.

I quote comments here by Christopher W. Shade, PhD during one of their Functional Forums with the Evolution of Medicine organization: “One of the worst things that happened during COVID was the loss of face-to-face community and the divisiveness and the derision and the division of our community into do we vax, do we not vax, you’re bad, you’re bad and everybody quietly sitting back not talking to each other, not fertilizing each other with the ideas that it takes to get through a crisis like this.” Hear, hear Dr. Shade. As one who after two years is still “locked down” with no travel allowed, the ability to participate in conferences and meet on a personal level has left me frustrated and isolated.

Now however, I am seeing more and more information regarding natural Covid and Post-Covid treatments, and I will be seeking ever more information for post-vaccination treatments. Remembering that in spite of, or because of, the mandates many millions of people have chosen to be vax’d. For now, we definitely need to be prepared for the health consequences of this global vaccination program. There are many organizations, researchers and practitioners out there strongly against the vaccines, and I believe slow progress is being made with stopping the mandates.

Perhaps the beginning of the change will come with the much awaited book,
by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. of the Children’s Health Defense:

Eliminating Persistent Post-COVID Symptoms and CFS/Fibromyalgia
By Jacob Teitelbaum, MD
And I quote:

  • “About 10% of symptomatic cases of COVID-19 will have persistent disabling fatigue and other symptoms (essentially post-viral CFS and fibromyalgia).
  • This translates to about 3.7 million new US cases of CFS and fibromyalgia.
  • The healthcare system will continue to largely focus on finding expensive new medications for this condition, which will take over a decade to develop and to get through the regulatory system.
  • These people will soon be looking to holistic medicine for help.”

And for this month’s new P2P website posts, there are two new articles:

  • Post Covid – Treatment Possibilities with Bioresonance Therapy, by Eckart Herrmann, MD. Despite all the attention which is directed at the present time to the acute events of Covid-19 infections, it should not be overlooked that according to the WHO about 20% of patients suffer from protracted consequences. With severe disease courses this is rather to be expected according to all experience. However, sometimes people also suffer from long-term consequences in which the illness ran mildly. Long-lasting disease symptoms are referred to as Post Covid or Long Covid. Read more here
