A Few Updates, Reminders and a “Happy Holidays” Greeting!

06 December2018

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

As the weeks and months have passed, it has taken more time and effort to actually close OIRF honorably than I would have ever imagined. But I believe that I have finally reached the point where all the chores are completed and I can now look forward to the projects and activities that are not so pressing. This allows me the freedom to work on the many projects, translations and commentaries that led me into this so-called “retirement” endeavor!

You can expect to see some more regular posts on the P2P website as we go forward. On the “My Thoughts” page I have planned a series of posts with my comments and observations gleaned while participating in the 52nd Medicine Week Congress in Baden-Baden last month. There is information on the new device regulations and restrictions, some new devices, and the developing “political” changes coming into our field. And, I’m sure there will be news from the A4M as well.

Recently, our computer-guru Chad has helped me start a new page on the site called “My Recommendations”. I plan to have this page fully functional by the year end. You will find information on various devices, publications and organizations. I will be recommending those companies and products that I have found to meet the standards of the industry and which offer you the highest quality for the best price. I will not be selling these items and I will definitely not be involved with the commercial sales, promotion and importation of devices. But I can certainly discuss my recommendation with you and guide you into making purchases that will work best for you in your own practice, from reliable and legitimate companies.

The “Events” page on the website is once again announcing the Acupuncture Meridian Assessment workshops of Dr. Simon Yu. Dates for this year are now set for April 25-28 and August 22-25, 2019. Workshops will be held in St. Louis, Missouri in the classroom at the Prevention and Healing Clinic. This is a highly recommended training program!

HOLIDAY TIMES: Like most of the German companies and suppliers, Medical Electronics will be closed for the Christmas Holiday Season from 15 December 2018 through 10 January 2019. All orders for the FIT 915 and UBS 315 received after 10 December 2018 will be shipped in the New Year. To spend time with my Mom and family, I plan to be away from my desk from 21 December 2018 through 02 January 2019. I will check emails, but I will not be “working” per se.

It is with great pleasure that I am once again able to write to you and to share the many interesting developments of software, devices and articles that I am constantly seeing in the German journals, publications and congresses.

I will repeat – one more time – from my previous email that I welcome you to Praxis2Practice and these brief update emails. I will not deluge your Inbox with constant emails and offers. Rather I would like to make regular and ongoing posts on the website and will occasionally send you an email to update you on what is “happening” or what has been posted. I look forward to hearing from you. However, should you decide you do not wish to receive these updates, simply send me an email with “unsubscribe” in the subject line and I will regretfully remove your name from the list.

And, in the spirit of the Season, I do want to extend my most sincere and heartfelt greetings for this wonderful and sacred time of the year. To each and every one of you, regardless of faith or belief, may this be a time of great joy, of family, of memories of happy times and of spiritual renewal.

Happy Hanukkah

            Merry Christmas

                        Happy Kwanzaa

                                                                    Happy Holidays!

And of course:

Happy New Year!

With kind regards, be well and be healthy . . .
