Jean-Claude Darras, MD

Jean-Claude Darras is a doctor of medicine from the Faculty of Paris, a graduate in aeronautical medicine, and a lecturer in Acupuncture at the Faculty of Medicine of Paris XII. Professor and director of teaching at the Institute of the Acupuncture Center of France, President of the Medical Academy of Acupuncture,

Credentials

he has participated in numerous works and medical research specialized in acupuncture, in particular on “isotopic exploitation of meridians” at Necker Hospital (studies in 1993 revealed existence of the pathways using techniques of modern Western science). He has published numerous works, including a five-volume medical treatise on acupuncture. President of the World Union of Acupuncture Societies, he was also a member of the Bureau of the World Research Foundation (USA), as well as an honorary member of numerous international acupuncture societies. In this capacity, he has become a world-renowned and appreciated speaker during these international interventions. Specializing in Traditional Chinese Medicine, he has made numerous study trips to the Far East, particularly to the People’s Republic of China.
