Latest vs. Tried & True – a long phone conversation . . .
I had an interesting phone conversation with a long time (like 25 years) member the other day and we discussed a number of topics. He has used MORA BioResonance Therapy for at least 20 years and is happy and content with his “old” MORA Super. Yet on the other hand he is one of those who waited in line to get that recently released iPad just to make sure he had the latest and most up-to-date model.
It is interesting that although OIRF prides itself on giving you leading edge information in this rapidly changing field of Biological Medicine we are still recommending MORA, BioPhoton and Oxygen instrumentation which were all originally developed many years ago. Within the past few years we added our recommendation for the magnetic field therapy devices from AMS and the AMSAT segmental or global diagnostics from Holistic Concepts.
So why are we still “sticking” with that “old” equipment? I personally keep up with all the German Journals and follow the various seminars, conventions and congresses sponsored in Germany. I also try to keep track of all the research going on in North America. There has literally been an explosion of so called “new” devices over the past 4 or 5 years and I have watched with interest as many of them just as quickly disappeared. Almost all of them are copies of existing equipment, many are radionics based and many more just appear to be outright gimmicks.
We take our responsibilities at OIRF very seriously, and before I would even consider risking our untarnished reputation by recommending any of these new devices, we want to see them, work with them and make sure that the claims made for them are real. So far – we’ve stuck with the “tried and true”. Instrumentation like the ones that bear our recommendation are all tested and have been in daily practice for years. There’s not a gimmick or false claim among them. In the end “Jim” (to protect the guilty or is that the innocent?) and I felt that it was much better to remain with those devices that we know will do the job than to risk the health and well being of our patients on some of these newer inventions.
And then during our chat we wandered off into the Institute’s non-profit status. And yes, we are a legitimate non-profit society (similar to the legal status of the Cancer Society and the College of Physicians and Surgeons) which is watched over closely by our attorneys, accountants and advisors to ensure that we maintain that legally registered status.
So how is it that we are selling equipment and “making all that money”? Well, for starters, it’s not that much money since all devices are sold at less than German export prices. Then there are the factors that because we do not use advertising, salesmen or pressure sales tactics, and because most of the equipment is not registered with the FDA or Health Canada (except for the MORA-Super of course), there are only those few “sales” that go directly into clinics where the devices are loved and utilized on a regular basis – and where it then lasts for 25 years!
All instrumentation sold through OIRF is sold as our main fund raising activity. As you know we are not government funded in any way and without the income from those instrumentation sales, the Institute quite literally would not survive economically.
We are grateful for your support and highly value your trust in our recommendations. Any purchase you make through OIRF, you can be assured that you are receiving an honest assessment of your practice and instrumentation needs and that all claims made for it will be met. If you are not already working with some of our recommended methods and are looking for effective diagnostic or therapeutic additions for your practice, please take a look at the information included at the end of this Issue of “The Bridge”. Thank you . . . Carolyn
