A Manual for the Non-Surgical
Face Lifting Technique from the Orient

This Manual and technique were researched and developed for Occidental Institute Research Foundation by Walter D. Sturm, PhD, HMD, DAcu. It was used for a series of seminars held between 1978-1984 around the USA and Canada during a time when traditional acupuncture was still ridiculed and often persecuted. This offered acupuncturists a method that would somewhat remove them from “medical” scrutiny and rather allow them to practice under cosmetic or spa regulations. Highly popular for that reason alone, it was also very effective (especially when combined with the proprietary “face mask” powder), bringing many patients into early acupuncture practices.

The method was initially based on the traditional acupuncture work of Dr. Jacques Lavier, and then developed into a more modern concept. Fifteen pages available in digital PDF format.

About the author

Walter D. Sturm

Dr Walter D. Sturm, HMD, PhD, DAcu †

Dr. Walter D. Sturm † (HMD, PhD, DAcu) was one of the founders of Occidental Institute Research Foundation. He was their Research Director first in traditional acupuncture and then from 1978 on, in German Electro-Acupuncture, homeopathy and biological medicine.

Dr. Sturm worked with MORA-Therapy since early 1980, and without a doubt was the most informed person in North America regarding that instrument. His subspecialty was environmental problems, and the knowledge he gained over the years on EAV test preparations in this area was astounding. Due to his diagnostic abilities and resources (over 30,000 test remedies organized and arranged within arm’s reach of his seated test position) he was considered internationally as the “court of last resort” in North America. [see also “International Who’s Who in Medicine”; 1st Ed., Cambridge, England.]

Thanks to an eidetic memory and a near Mensa level IQ, Dr. Sturm had the ability to research huge quantities of printed materials (in seven languages) and then absorb and correlate the information without error or confusion. A dynamic speaker with an innate talent for teaching, he was able to meticulously share his knowledge and depth of understanding with the participants. Dr. Sturm was able to bring you right up to date with the very latest German discoveries based on his regular attendance at German language Symposia and conferences as well as the most recent German language publications.
