What does energy and information have to do with medicine? People sometimes ask me whether the topic Energy and Information can be equated with esotericism. Physicists can give us a better answer to this question than doctors. In the 17th century the English physicist and mathematician Sir Isaac Newton formulated the three laws of motion in mechanics. With the help of these laws, planetary motion, functioning of machines and the fluid dynamics were precisely described. Newton also laid the groundwork for acoustics and certain frequencies of vibration processes.
In the 19th century, the hypothesis which defined the universe as a composition of fundamental building blocks, called atoms, broadened Newtonian Physics. Interactions between energy and matter, like the ability of a radio receiver to convert invisible radio waves into music were not yet well known. Further phenomena were discovered that could not be explained by Newtonian Physics. The concept of fields was defined by Michael Faraday and James Clerk-Maxwell. A field was described as a condition in space that has the potential to generate energy.
In 1905 Albert Einstein published his work the special Theory of Relativity and thus shattered the principles of Newton’s conception of the world. In accordance with the Theory of Relativity, space is not three-dimensional and time is not an independent entity. In the 1920’s physics found access to the extremely astonishing world of elementary subatomic particles. Thus one could prove by experiment that light is an elementary particle, and also show the existence of light as a wave. Max Planck discovered that heat energy is not continually emitted, but rather in the form of quanta.
In 1971 Dennis Gabor received the Nobel Prize for the invention of holography. This is a photograph taken without a lens, whereby an object is illuminated with coherent light and its wave field is stored as an interference pattern on a photographic plate. Karl Pribram, the well-known brain researcher, found proof of the holographic structuring of the brain, according to which the brain holographically structures sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. The information is transmitted to the whole system and thus each part can reproduce the information of the “whole”.
The basis of our daily treatments is the transmission of information and energy, however it takes place, whether personally or through various devices and instruments. Each doctor gives his patients information on how to treat the respective illness, and he also receives much information, not only regarding the corresponding symptoms, but also regarding his patient’s personality, family and working environment. Some doctors get even more information which is not exchanged only verbally.
Many therapy forms use energetics, for example in treatment with Acupuncture. The Chinese call the vital energy “Qi”. According to Chinese Acupuncture-physiology “Qi” consists of two polar forces, Yin and Yang. When these forces are out of balance, illness often develops. The art of Acupuncture consists of bringing Yin and Yang into balance.
Information also plays a large role in treatment with Homeopathy. We give our patient the possibility of healing his disease with the right medication. No symptom is suppressed, as is the case with many allopathic medications.
Numerous scientific tests prove that each cell of the body and each organ have a natural and autonomous rhythm. In a healthy energy field an interaction of the different rhythms occurs, as if a transfer takes place. If the body is healthy, these rhythms are transmitted easily from one organ to another. However, with a pathological condition both the rhythms as well as the degree of the energy change.
This phenomenon becomes very clear when treating scar disturbance fields in Neural Therapy. It can happen that after an operation the tissues, which were sewn together again after the incision, transfer energy differently. In physics one
speaks of matching or not matching impedance. In healthy tissue the impedance
of the neighboring tissues matches, so that the energy can flow easily through all tissues. Surgery and disease can change the impedance and can lead to a dispersion instead of a transfer of the energy.
Bioresonance Therapy is another big area of medical treatment with Energy and Information. It was developed by a German physician, Dr.med. Franz Morell, after he had successfully worked for many years with Electro-Acupuncture according to Dr.med. Reinhold Voll (EAV – another form of therapy which consists of two variants of energetic medicine: Acupuncture and Homeopathy). Bioresonance Therapy is a therapy form that works with electromagnetic oscillations of different frequencies.
Finally another example from the professional field experience of many doctors who work in their own practice. Often we treat 20 patients successively and we are fine. Then we treat a certain patient and we are devoid of energy, we feel “empty”. All these experiences have a real background on the energy field level. Many therapies which we offer today make use of these experiences, and in the meantime science has also been able to verify these.
Everything worth knowing on this topic: “Energy and Information in Medicine” and its practical relevance, you will receive during our next congress (ZÄN * Congress held annually in Freudenstadt).
